①油漆料工业
优等硅灰石粉用于油漆涂料一些产品中，取代立德粉及部分钛白粉、进口Ｐ８２０做为充填剂，能改善涂层的流平性。硅灰石的粒子形状是涂料的很好悬浮剂，其沉淀物柔软分散，可做清洁型涂料的增强剂。由于它吸油量低。有很高的充填量，减少粘结物质的消耗，因而涂料的成本大幅度下降。硅灰石偏碱性，非常适用于聚乙酸乙烯涂料，使着颜色料分散均匀，它可以把适用酸性介质的颜料连接起来
